Why I started this site

When I started preparing for my qualifying departmental exam, I spent weeks trying to figure out which resources were actually worth my time and money. The internet was full of generic medical study advice that had nothing to do with anesthesia.

So I started documenting what actually worked — which question banks matched the exam style, which textbooks to use, and how to build an Anki deck that survives spaced repetition without burning out.
